I'm finding it hard to put into words how special this conversation with Lee Chambers was for me. I know I say that about every episode, but this one truly was. Lee is an environmental psychologist and well-being consultant. As the founder of Essentialise, he helps bring well-being to the workplace. He's also part of a movement in his hometown of Lancashire, England to bring well-being to every part of his community.
Wellness is such a common word these days. Oftentimes when we hear it, it evokes things like fitness, sleep, eating, meditation, etc. Lee works with all of these things, but he does so in a way that honors the deep complexity and beauty of each and every person. The external stuff we can see, like how often we meditate or go for a run, or what food we put in our bodies, are simply expressions of something deeper inside of us that's longing to come out.
Lee also has this incredible gift for metaphor, so don’t be surprised if you leave this conversation with a new level of zest and energy towards your own mental, physical, and spiritual well-being!
